Fan-Built Miniatures of the Flying
Sub
Web site by: Phil
Broad
Above are photos of the radio controlled (floating only, not flying!) model of the flying sub built by Richard Teskey. It is based on the studio 3-view drawings and the old Aurora model kit and is approximately 24 inches across. The outer hull is a fiberglass shell laid up in mold taken from a purpose built pattern. The Vault thanks Richard for sharing his efforts with us and compliment him on a job well done! Thanks Richard!
